Washington.-<\/strong> The FBI<\/a><\/strong> is investigating an incident at a shopping center in Boulder, Colorado, as a “terrorist attack”, according to the agency’s director, Kash Patel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We are aware of a deliberate terrorist attack<\/strong> (…) our agents and local law enforcement are already on the scene,” Patel wrote on his X platform account. <\/p>\n\n\nAuthorities responded to emergency calls in the Pearl Street area of Boulder, a university town west of Denver, around 13:00 local time (19:00 GMT) this Sunday.\n\n\n

Several of the injured were participating in a peaceful protest in favor of Israel.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL),<\/strong> an organization dedicated to combating “anti-Semitism” and promoting pro-Israel policies, confirmed on its X account that the attack took place during an event of the “Jewish community” to call for the release of the hostages still held by Hamas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
