ALMOMENTO.NET<\/strong> is one of the most influential, impartial, and widely read digital newspapers in the Dominican Republic. Founded on January 11, 2008<\/strong> by journalist Sa\u00fal Pimentel<\/strong>, this media outlet has established itself as a benchmark for agile, free, and participatory journalism at the national and international levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Origin of the AlMomento.net newspaper<\/h3>\n\n\nThe newspaper was born without great resources, driven solely by the enthusiasm and conviction of its founder. From its beginnings, ALMOMENTO.NET aimed to offer news with firmness, professionalism, and independence, breaking the traditional schemes of the Dominican press.\n\n\n

Innovation in Al Momento’s digital ecosystem<\/h3>\n\n\nBefore 2008, Dominican digital newspapers only replicated their print editions around 11 in the morning and did not update until the next day. ALMOMENTO.NET changed the rules of the game by offering updated news at any time of the day, modifying its front pages every time a relevant event occurred. This practice forced other media to adopt the same model, generating a healthy informational competition<\/strong> that benefited the reader.\n\n\n

Its success is largely due to the loyalty of its readers, columnists, and commentators, whom Sa\u00fal Pimentel himself recognizes as “one of the main pillars of support” for the medium.\n\n\n
