U.S. President Donald Trump was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by a U.S. Representative, who considered the president’s role in the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel “extraordinary and historic<\/strong>“, according to reports<\/a> Fox News. <\/p>\n\n\nThe nomination, presented by Republican Buddy Carter, highlights Trump’s influence in facilitating the truce, attributed in part to his diplomatic history in the Middle East.\n\n\n

President Trump also took bold<\/strong> and decisive<\/strong> actions to stop Iran’s nuclear ambitions,” Carter wrote in his letter.\n\n\n

Trump, for his part, didn’t take long to<\/strong> celebrate the news<\/strong> and shared<\/a> the article on his Truth Social network.<\/p>\n\n\nIt should be noted that nomination for the Nobel Prize does not guarantee selection and, according to the prize’s website, there are currently 338 candidates<\/strong> for the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize.\n\n\n
