San Pedro.-<\/strong> The malec\u00f3n of San Pedro de Macor\u00eds became this Saturday the epicenter of culinary creativity and cultural pride with the celebration of the \u201cLargest Domplinada in the world\u201d<\/strong>, one of the most representative dishes of the cocola identity.<\/p>\n\n\nThe activity marked the official start of the San Pedro 2025 Gastronomic Fair, which takes place from June 27 to 29 as part of the program of the Patron Saint Festivities of San Pedro Ap\u00f3stol, with the participation of more than 100 local ventures.\n\nThe inaugural act was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto \u00c1lvarez; Senator Aracelis Villanueva<\/strong>; Mayor Raymundo Ortiz; along with Deputy Nelson Arroyo<\/strong>, and other personalities from the political, social, and cultural spheres of the East.\n\n\n

This event aims to achieve the Guinness record for \"The world's largest dumpling<\/strong>\" and dozens of volunteers worked under the direction of chef Norberto Eusebio<\/a>. More than 2000 pounds of salami and 2000 pounds of kneaded flour, resulting in 38 thousand dumplings. <\/p>\n\n\nConfirmation is expected from the organization Guiness World Record<\/a> to verify that the challenge was achieved and the sultana from the east will enter the record book.\n\n\n
