This interaction will continue to cause local showers, thunderstorms, and possible wind gusts<\/strong> in specific points of the interior of the country, especially in the afternoon.\n\nDuring the afternoon and night of this Thursday, rainfall will be concentrated mainly in provinces such as Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Duarte, Saman\u00e1, Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, Santiago, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, Dajab\u00f3n and Monte Cristi<\/strong>. In the rest of the national territory, the sky will remain partly cloudy or with a grayish tone due to the presence of African dust.\n\nFor Friday, a mixed scenario is expected. During the early morning and early hours of the day, isolated showers<\/strong> could occur in coastal provinces of the Caribbean, such as La Altagracia, El Seibo, Saman\u00e1, Barahona, Santo Domingo and San Crist\u00f3bal<\/strong>. However, from noon onwards, concentrations of Saharan dust<\/strong> will increase, which, together with the trough and a tropical wave near the area, will favor moderate to heavy rains<\/strong> accompanied by electrical storms and wind gusts in the northwest, north, southwest and border area.\n\nTemperatures will remain hot throughout the country, with highs between “33 \u00b0C and 35 \u00b0C” in urban areas and lows ranging between “21 \u00b0C and 23 \u00b0C”. Meteorological authorities urge the population to take preventive measures against the heat wave: hydrate frequently, avoid prolonged sun exposure, and take special care of children and the elderly.\n\nAs for Saturday, the forecast warns that from early hours there will be showers and thunderstorms in towns on the south and east coast<\/strong>, such as San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, La Romana, La Altagracia, San Crist\u00f3bal and Barahona<\/strong>. During the afternoon, the tropical wave will combine with the trough to intensify the rainfall in provinces of the northeast, southeast, north, Central Mountain Range and border area<\/strong>, gradually decreasing during the night.\n\n\n
