New York<\/strong>.- <\/em>A new act of youth violence shocks the Bronx, after a 17-year-old teenager was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of the fatal stabbing of Aliyah Williams<\/strong>, 16, inside a bodega in the Williamsbridge neighborhood<\/strong>. The crime occurred on Tuesday in broad daylight and raises concern about the increase in knife attacks in the city.
<\/p>\n\n\nAccording to the New York City Police Department (NYPD)<\/a>, the victim was followed to the \"Deli Grocery\" store, located near the intersection of Mickle Avenue and Boston Road. There, both young women reportedly had an argument that ended in tragedy when the aggressor pulled out a bladed weapon and attacked Williams, injuring her in the head and torso.\n\nThe attack occurred at 3:56 p.m.<\/strong> and was captured by security cameras. The minor was rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after. The victim lived just two blocks from the scene, according to police sources.\n\n\n
