Russia Does Not Fear Nuclear Escalation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nPeskov stressed that Moscow does not consider that there is now between the two powers \"some kind of nuclear escalation\", so \"we would not like to be involved in such a controversy\".\n\n\"It's clear that this is a very complex and sensitive substance that, of course, is perceived by many impulsively,\" he said.\n\nInstead, he added, Russia, whose position on the matter is responsible, believes that \"everyone should be very careful regarding nuclear rhetoric.\"\n\n\"US nuclear submarines are always on alert, it's a constant thing,\" he commented.\n\n\n

The Kremlin defends Medvedev, but says only Putin defines foreign policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nFurthermore, the Kremlin defended today the controversial opinions expressed on social media by Medvedev, but stressed that it is the current head of state, Vladimir Putin, who alone defines the country's foreign policy.\n\n\"In each country there are members of the government who have different points of view on current events. There are also people with very radical positions in the US and in European countries. That always happens,\" said Peskov.\n\nIn his opinion, \"what is important, of course, is the position of President Putin. In our country, foreign policy is formulated by the head of state, President Putin.\"\n\n\n

Trump: words \u00abcan have unforeseen consequences\u00bb<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\nTrump ordered last Friday to deploy two nuclear submarines in response to what he considers the \"provocative statements\" of former Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, who warned of a possible war between the two countries.\n\n\n
