The detainee was located in a house on 19 de Marzo street, from where the deceased had fled on a motorcycle.\n\n\n

According to the Police, both were carrying illegal pistols and fired at the agents, which provoked the lethal response.\n\nAuthorities indicated that both those killed and the arrested person had arrest warrants for alleged involvement in the kidnapping and murder of the taxi driver, whose body was found on March 3 in the community of La Soledad, Espaillat province, after being reported missing on January 22.\n\nRegarding the case, the Police recalled that on the same day the body was found, Oscar Jos\u00e9 Ure\u00f1a, alias \"Boca,\" was arrested.
