San Juan.-<\/strong> Judge Silvia Carre\u00f1o of the Federal Court of Hato Rey, in San Juan<\/strong>, ordered this Thursday the ex-wife of the Puerto Rican urban artist Daddy Yankee, Mireddys Gonz\u00e1lez,<\/strong> to hand over electronic devices with emails and files that were originally deleted from the corporation El Cartel Records.<\/p>\n\n\nCarre\u00f1o in the initial view of this new case, which is framed in the judicial dispute that began at the end of 2024, explained that an extraction of the information stored on the equipment will be carried out so that the lawyers can obtain the corporation’s documentation.\n\n\n

Let’s go for it.”\n\nDaddy Yankee’s lawyers alleged that the Gonz\u00e1lez sisters violated the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act and the Stored Communications Act by accessing and destroying corporate data without authorization.\n\nRam\u00f3n Ayala Rodr\u00edguez, the artist’s given name, is seeking twelve million dollars, alleging that both accessed without authorization and deleted essential files related to the artist’s career, including information about his tour ‘La \u00daltima Vuelta’ and the sale of his music catalog.\n\nThe dispute over the corporations began after the Gonz\u00e1lez sisters made transfers in December 2024 for a total of one hundred million dollars from the corporate bank accounts to personal accounts of each party, without the artist’s knowledge or authorization.\n\nThe couple’s separation was confirmed on those dates and the divorce became official on February 19th, after almost thirty years of marriage and two children together.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
