He is an industrial engineer, graduated with honors (Cum Laude) from the Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). Subsequently, he obtained a master's degree in Operations Management from the same institution.\n\nIn the academic field, P\u00e9rez de Le\u00f3n was the founding president of the industrial engineering student committee of the PUCMM in 1999. Later, he served as a university professor in the operations management chair at that university.\n\nIn the private sector, he has been a successful entrepreneur in the motorcycle industry.\n\nIn the political arena, he began more than a decade ago a political project to support Luis Abinader, a structure in which he has been the official spokesperson and special assistant to the then candidate Abinader in the 2012 and 2016 elections, respectively. He was National Vice President and member of the Political Commission of the PRM.
