Peralta emphasized that \"our lactation rooms are a tangible way to support their personal and professional well-being. These spaces are part of the development of a culture of social responsibility that we implement with internal practices of equality and gender equity.\"\n\n\n<p>In 2015, Banco BHD was the first private company in the Dominican Republic to have a lactation room certified as a \u201cBreastfeeding Family Friendly Room\u201d by the Ministry of Public Health and the La Leche League at its main headquarters. At the beginning of this 2025, the bank opened a breastfeeding room in the Iberoam\u00e9rica park together with the Mayor's Office of the National District, the third one that these organizations have installed in the city of Santo Domingo, where monthly talks are offered that serve as guidance for parents.\n\nIn March 2023, they inaugurated the first municipal lactation room at the headquarters of the City Council, as well as the first lactation room in the Colonial City.
