Humire, conducted a strategic tour of the main military installations on the Dominican-Haitian border, from Manzanillo to Dajab\u00f3n.\n\nDuring the visit, of high strategic relevance, the Undersecretary of Defense received detailed information from the Minister of Defense, the general commander of the Army, Major General Jorge Iv\u00e1n Camino P\u00e9rez, ERD, and the director of the CESFRONT<\/a>, Brigadier General Jose Rodr\u00edguez Coste, ERD., about the operations that the Armed Forces and state agencies have in place in the area to confront threats such as drug trafficking, the illicit trafficking of people and goods, as well as other transnational security challenges.\n\n\n
