However, it will be after midday when the effects of the heat and the diurnal cycle favor an increase in cloudiness, generating heavy showers in isolated points, thunderstorms and gusts of wind<\/strong>, especially in Independencia, Bahoruco, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, Dajab\u00f3n, Azua, San Juan, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, Santiago, La Vega, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Monte Plata and Hato Mayor<\/strong>.\n\n\n

However, in the afternoon, showers and isolated thunderstorms will return due to the remnants of humidity left by the tropical wave and the effects of the trough, which will begin to weaken. The rains will concentrate in provinces of the southwest, the Cibao and the north, including Puerto Plata, Duarte, San Crist\u00f3bal and San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa<\/strong>, extending until the early hours of the night.\n\n\n

Cyclonic Activity<\/h3>\n\n\nRegarding cyclonic activity in the Atlantic basin, a tropical wave is forecast to emerge in the coming days from the west coast of Africa, with a 30% probability of development in the next seven days<\/strong>.\n\n\n

Intense Heat<\/h3>\n\n\nThe Onamet warned that temperatures will remain quite hot<\/strong>, a product of the time of year and the warm southeast wind.
