Another recognition<\/p>\n\n\nPrior to the Dominican\u00edsimo Awards gala, Carolina also received a proclamation from the Mayor’s Office of Lawrence, in the state of Massachusetts, from her counterpart, Mayor Brian DePe\u00f1a.\n\nMej\u00eda was one of the 26 personalities who were recognized by the mayor for their service record in different areas of public life.\n\nIn that scenario, Brian DePe\u00f1a highlighted the positioning of Dominicans in that American city, emphasizing their work ethic and their connection to the land that saw them born.\n\n\n
