{"id":481740,"date":"2025-09-07T07:49:44","date_gmt":"2025-09-07T11:49:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/indomet-forecasts-showers-thunderstorms-and-wind-gusts-this-sunday-in-a-large-part-of-the-country\/"},"modified":"2025-09-07T07:49:44","modified_gmt":"2025-09-07T11:49:44","slug":"indomet-forecasts-showers-thunderstorms-and-wind-gusts-this-sunday-in-a-large-part-of-the-country","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/the-weather\/indomet-forecasts-showers-thunderstorms-and-wind-gusts-this-sunday-in-a-large-part-of-the-country\/","title":{"rendered":"Indomet forecasts showers, thunderstorms and wind gusts this Sunday in a large part of the country"},"content":{"rendered":"Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) reported that for this Monday the weather conditions will be dominated by the humidity left after the passage of a tropical wave over Cuba and the effects of a trough aloft, which will keep the atmosphere humid and unstable over a large part of the national territory.\n\nFrom early morning and the first hours of the morning, scattered showers with possible thunderstorms are expected in provinces of the East and Northeast such as La Romana, La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Saman\u00e1 and Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez.\n\nIn the afternoon, the evening heat will combine with instability, generating more frequent showers, thunderstorms, and wind gusts in provinces of the East, the Central Cibao, the border area, the South, and Greater Santo Domingo.\n\nThe demarcations with the highest incidence include: La Altagracia, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, Monte Plata, Duarte, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, La Vega, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, San Crist\u00f3bal, San Jos\u00e9 de Ocoa, Santiago, Hermanas Mirabal, Espaillat, Azua, San Juan, Independencia, Bahoruco, Pedernales, Valverde, Santiago Rodr\u00edguez, Monte Cristi, El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a and Dajab\u00f3n.\n\nIn the night, rainfall will gradually decrease, although isolated showers will remain in coastal areas.\n\n\n<p>High temperatures<\/p>\n\n\nIndomet warned that temperatures will continue to be stifling, with maximum values between 33 \u00b0C and 35 \u00b0C and minimums of 22 \u00b0C to 24 \u00b0C.
