She has been a judge of the Central Electoral Board, coordinator of the Commission to Support the Reform and Modernization of Justice, and a member of the commission of jurists that drafted the preliminary draft of the 2010 Constitution. In addition, she has chaired the National Bioethics Council in Health (CONABIOS) and has held teaching positions at universities such as UNPHU, UNIBE, UASD, and the Iberoamerican University.\n\n<strong>She is the wife of the Dominican lawyer, professor, and politician Guillermo Moreno, with whom she had two children who also practice law in the United States.<\/strong>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Professional Career<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nSince 1982, Fern\u00e1ndez Rodr\u00edguez has practiced law, specializing in civil, banking, and notarial law. She has worked in law firms such as &#8220;Dr. Abel Fern\u00e1ndez Sim\u00f3&#8221; and &#8220;Russin, Vecchi &amp; Heredia Bonetti&#8221;, and at Banco Popular Dominicano. She was the lawyer in charge of the legal department of Banco y Leasing CONFISA and a senior partner at the firm Guzm\u00e1n Ariza Abogados y Consultores until 2017 National Council.\n\nIn the public sphere, she held key positions: she was a judge of the Central Electoral Board in two periods (1994-1997 and 2006-2010), coordinator of the Commission to Support the Reform and Modernization of Justice (1997-2000), and member of the commission of jurists that drafted the preliminary draft of the 2010 Constitution.\n\nIn the academic field, she has been a law professor at universities such as UNPHU, UNIBE, UASD and the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). In addition, she has held academic management positions and has been a columnist in national media.\n\nSince 2004, he has been honorary president of the National Bioethics Council in Health (CONABIOS), a key organization in the promotion of ethics in Dominican public health.
