Santo Domingo. \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0The Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (INDOTEL<\/a>) launched the first Dominican stories on cybersecurity for children and adolescents, by the writer Anya Damir\u00f3n, within the framework of the Santo Domingo International Book Fair 2025 (FILSD 2025).<\/p>\n\n\nThe activity was held at the National Theater, in front of hundreds of students from different educational centers, and is part of the institutional project \"Click Seguro 360\" on cybersecurity for children and adolescents, and Parental Control 360, which aims to provide practical tools for the digital protection of children and promote a conscious and safe use of digital platforms.\n\nYou can also read: \n\nGuido G\u00f3mez Mazara, president of the INDOTEL Board of Directors, highlighted the importance of implementing this type of initiative to contribute to the protection of children in cyberspace and responds to the need to guide Dominican families on the responsible use of technologies.\n\n\n

\"How good that technology leads us to illusion, but how good also that we make the effort as an institution in the interest of establishing the bases for effective care and protecting our children and adolescents from the risks of cybersecurity,\" the official pointed out.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nFrom her side, the First Lady and President of the Cabinet for Children and Adolescents in the Dominican Republic, Raquel Arbaje, encouraged young people to make productive use of technologies and promote reading as a cross-cutting axis of education.\n\n\n

\"When we read a book, we live at the same time as the friends we find on the pages, installing in our brain a series of words and emotions that awaken creativity to be more competent professionals,\" Arbaje expressed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nThe stories, authored by writer Anya Damir\u00f3n, \"Screens on the Farm\" and \"Train of Fun\" were presented to hundreds of children and adolescents, who, excited, listened to the creative and accessible stories offered by the first storyteller on cybersecurity, with the purpose of transmitting values \u200b\u200bof care, trust and awareness in the use of technology.\n\n\n
