\u201cToday is the first day I only carry the backpack so they give him homework and we help him at home\u2026 it’s weird, it’s difficult, it’s frustrating, but it’s what we have to do when there’s no other choice\u2026\u201d,<\/strong> confessed the artist, visibly affected. <\/p>\n\n\nIn the audiovisual, he is seen leaving with Said’s backpack, arriving at the educational center, speaking with a teacher, and explaining that the child will not attend anymore, at least for now. However, he handed in his school supplies so that tasks and exercises could be assigned to him to do at home, with the support of his family.\n\nThe video, which has touched hundreds of people, also shows Liondy crying, wiping away his tears and then dancing. “God changes his lament into dancing… so I went to open my business and continue with the new day that we received as a divine gift… good day,” he expressed with faith.\n\nThe experience shared by Liondy, in addition to exposing his personal situation, once again highlights the reality that many Dominican families with children on the autism spectrum live: that it exposes an educational system that still does not adequately meet 100% of their needs, the absence of inclusive public policies, and the high costs of specialized therapies.\n\nBeyond his facet as a humorist, Liondy Ozoria has been an active voice in the fight for inclusion and respect for neurodivergent children.
