The candidate highlighted that student movements are essential pieces for innovation, the defense of rights, and the formation of leadership committed to social justice.\n\n\n<p><strong>You may be interested in:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/uasd-presentara-su-plan-estrategico-de-seguridad-universitaria\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"562094\">UASD will present its University Security Strategic Plan<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nIn the framework of the <strong>International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women<\/strong>, Silverio dedicated a special message to the women of the university community and reaffirmed his commitment to inclusion, gender equality, and the creation of safe spaces within the academy.\n\nThe candidate recalled his origins in <strong>Batey Maguaca, Montecristi<\/strong>, and his career from computer science student, through management roles, vice-deanship, deanship and his current position as <strong>Vice-Rector of Research and Postgraduate<\/strong>. \u201cMy goal is to continue this path as the next rector, to build a more modern, inclusive and student-friendly UASD\u201d, he expressed.\n\nDuring the event, he presented his <strong>UASD Strategic Plan 2026-2030<\/strong>, focused on student well-being and technological modernization. Among its main proposals are: strengthening of cafeterias, transportation and health services; expansion of digital training programs; implementation of smart classrooms and digital libraries; construction of the <strong>Intelligent Student Tower<\/strong>; new university residences; and promotion of international academic mobility.\n\nSilverio also announced initiatives such as the creation of a <strong>Student Innovation Fund<\/strong>, an <strong>Employability Office<\/strong>, a <strong>student ID card with benefits<\/strong>, the academic social network <strong>#YOSOYUASD<\/strong> and new services based on <strong>artificial intelligence<\/strong> to improve the university experience.\n\nThe student support was led by <strong>Carluis \u00c1lvarez<\/strong> (FELABEL), <strong>Winston Morfe<\/strong> (GEI), <strong>Junior Mart\u00ednez<\/strong> (MED23), <strong>Jonathan Lorenzo<\/strong> (Punto de Encuentro) and <strong>Mohamed Pl\u00e1cido<\/strong> (FESD-16). Together, these organizations represent <strong>more than 70% of the student votes<\/strong> of the electoral body.\n\n\n<p>At the event, various student and faculty leaders reiterated their commitment to Silverio's project, highlighting that collaboration between authorities and students is fundamental to strengthening the public university. \"Dear UASD youth, you are the generational replacement of this nation.
