{"id":492670,"date":"2025-11-27T08:17:17","date_gmt":"2025-11-27T12:17:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/bellapart-museum-presented-the-documentary-colson-renew-or-die\/"},"modified":"2025-11-27T08:17:17","modified_gmt":"2025-11-27T12:17:17","slug":"bellapart-museum-presented-the-documentary-colson-renew-or-die","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/bellapart-museum-presented-the-documentary-colson-renew-or-die\/","title":{"rendered":"Bellapart Museum presented the documentary \"Colson: Renew or Die\""},"content":{"rendered":"<strong>Santo Domingo. <\/strong>- The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.museobellapart.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bellapart Museum<\/a> and Agencia Bella presented the avant-premi\u00e8re of the documentary \u201cColson: Renovarse o Morir\u201d, a tribute to the Dominican painter Jaime Colson, considered one of the most influential plastic artists of the 20th century and an essential figure in the construction of Dominican visual identity.\n\nThis special screening, which began with a gala at 6:30 P.M. at Caribbean Cinemas in Downtown Center, was held with the presence of the First Lady of the Republic, Raquel Arbaje de Abinader, members of the Bellapart Family, relatives of Jaime Colson, historians, art and film critics, media, and special guests.\n\nIn her welcoming remarks, Mrs. Maribel Bellapart pointed out that \"This premiere constitutes a milestone for the visual arts of the country because it offers new generations access to the history of a master who broke the mold and paved the way while strengthening the appreciation of our cultural heritage and contributing to the international projection of Dominican art.\"\n\n\n<p><strong>You can also read:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/acuerdo-entre-rd-y-eeuu\/\">Use of airports, KC-135 and C-130 Hercules aircraft, What else does the agreement between DR and the US contemplate?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nMrs. Maribel Bellapart also highlighted: \"At the same time, it will strengthen the appreciation of our cultural heritage and contribute to the international projection of Dominican art, which has been one of the premises in the vision of the Bellapart Museum, created by my parents, Milagros \u00c1lvarez de Bellapart and Juan Jos\u00e9 Bellapart, and open to the public since 1999.\"\n\nHe announced that the screening of this documentary is scheduled to be presented at the Banreservas Cultural Center in the Colonial City in December; at the Centro Le\u00f3n in Santiago, in January 2026; and, next February it will be screened at the Milken Institute in Washington and at the Centro Cultural Perell\u00f3, in Ban\u00ed.
