This improvement represents a decisive step in strengthening the distribution system, increasing its stability, efficiency, and load capacity.\n\nIn addition, the project includes the complete refurbishment of the substation, benefiting more than 6,500 customers, and prepares the infrastructure to respond to the growing energy demand that the municipality has been experiencing, associated with its tourism development. The equipment to be installed is a 14 MVA power transformer, which doubles the current capacity of the substation, currently operated with 7 MVA.\n\nThe mayor of Miches, Luz Mar\u00eda Mercedes Cabrera, highlighted the support received: \u201cthanks to Edeeste for understanding that Miches needed that power transformer, which will mean a positive change in the energy service\u201d.
