A great production by the Dominican Concert Ballet<\/strong>, featured the principal dancers Lya G\u00f3mez, Diana Dopico, Pablo Paredes, Sander Robert, Luis P\u00e9rez, Karla Espaillat and Patricia de Le\u00f3n.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\nSANTO DOMINGO. \u2013<\/strong> Christmas shone in all its splendor with the staging of \"The Nutcracker Kingdom\", which was presented throughout the weekend at the Teatro Nacional <\/a>Eduardo Brito, with a spectacular production by the Dominican Concert Ballet.\n\nFor two hours, this magical and charming story, which has become a worldwide Christmas classic for decades, turned this auditorium into a world of dreams, colors and dance with fun and tender characters who danced to the rhythm of Tchaikovsky's universal music with a spectacular choreography.\n\n\u201cThe Kingdom of the Nutcracker\u201d <\/a> was presented in two acts, the first taking place on Christmas Eve and in the magical workshop of the inventor Zacar\u00edas Drossselmeyer, who is putting the finishing touches on the toys.\n\nThe celebration has a touch of melancholy when young Hans Peter enters the scene, saying goodbye to his uncle and his fianc\u00e9e, Clara Silver House, to go to war.\n\nIn the second act, the audience was immersed in the magical Kingdom of the Sweet Dreams, a place ruled by the benevolent Sugar Plum Fairy; she receives Clara and the Nutcracker and in the celebration for their victory over the evil Rat King, crowns them as guests of honor.\n\n\n
