New York.- <\/strong>A 72-year-old Hispanic woman<\/strong> was found dead in front of the New York Botanical Garden (NYBG)<\/a><\/strong>, in The Bronx, in a case that remains under police investigation.<\/p>\n\n\nThe victim was identified as Lydia Marz\u00e1n<\/strong>. According to reports from News 12<\/em>, the body presented visible injuries to the hands and head<\/strong>. A spokesperson for the New York City Police Department (NYPD) informed Norwood News<\/em> that at 6:49 a.m.<\/strong> on Tuesday, December 16, officers responded to a 911 call about a person needing assistance at 2900 Southern Boulevard<\/strong>, address of the NYBG.\n\n“Upon arrival, the agents found a 72-year-old woman unconscious and immobile. Emergency services confirmed her death at the scene,” said the spokesperson.\n\n\n

Another finding of human remains in The Bronx<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\nThat same month, another event alarmed the authorities. On Friday, December 12<\/strong>, around 11:30 a.m.<\/strong>, the police located human remains<\/strong> in a wooded area of Van Cortlandt Park<\/strong>, north of the Norwood neighborhood, near the Major Deegan Expressway. The NYPD confirmed that this investigation is also ongoing.\n\n\n
