Santo Domingo.\u2013 <\/strong>The Dominican Republic Meteorology Institute (Indomet)<\/a><\/strong>, reported that this Wednesday, December 24, during Christmas Eve, rains will continue in different provinces of the country, due to the northeast wind flow that drags cloudy fields <\/strong>associated with the remnants of a frontal system located north of the national territory.<\/p>\n\n\nAccording to the agency, these conditions maintain a sky with medium cloud cover to cloudy in locations on the Atlantic coast, the Cibao Valley, and the Central Mountain Range, generating scattered showers that could be moderate to heavy in isolated areas, accompanied by wind gusts.\n\nAmong the most affected provinces are Monte Cristi, Puerto Plata, Santiago, La Vega, Monse\u00f1or Nouel, Duarte, S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez, Hermanas Mirabal, Espaillat, Mar\u00eda Trinidad S\u00e1nchez, Saman\u00e1, San Crist\u00f3bal, Hato Mayor, El Seibo and La Altagracia, among others.\n\nIndomet indicated that during the rest of the morning and in the afternoon, these rains will move towards areas of the southeast, including Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, La Romana, Barahona, Peravia, Azua, Pedernales and Greater Santo Domingo, where they could extend until nightfall.\n\nFor tomorrow, Thursday<\/strong>, occasional cloudiness with weak to moderate rainfall is expected during the early morning<\/strong> in provinces of the north coast, the Cibao and the Central Mountain Range. In the morning and afternoon hours, the rainfall will be more isolated and of less intensity in locations such as Monte Plata, San Pedro de Macor\u00eds, La Romana, Barahona and Greater Santo Domingo.\n\n\n

On the Caribbean coast, these restrictions were discontinued.\n\nThe temperatures will remain pleasant<\/strong>, becoming cool during the night and early morning, especially in mountainous areas and valleys in the interior of the country, where fogs and mists could also be recorded. The minimums will range between 20 \u00b0C and 22 \u00b0C, while the maximums will be between 29 \u00b0C and 31 \u00b0C.\n\nFor Friday, the agency predicts that the northeast wind will continue to affect the weather conditions, causing scattered showers during the day and night on the north coast, the northeast, the Cibao Valley, and the Central Mountain Range.
