Among the hospitals inaugurated and delivered by the SNS, the Traumatology Hospital of Azua<\/strong> stands out, which, together with the Traumatology Hospital of Hig\u00fcey<\/strong> delivered by the Ministry of Housing and Buildings (Mived)<\/strong>,  has allowed a 67% expansion of the National Trauma Network.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SNS put into service\u00a0three Diabetic Foot Units,\u00a0<\/strong>enabled in the\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Hospital de Imbert, in\u00a0Puerto Plata<\/strong>; the Provincial Inmaculada Concepci\u00f3n, in\u00a0S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez,<\/strong>\u00a0and the General Regional Marcelino V\u00e9lez Santana, in\u00a0Santo Domingo<\/strong>, which added to\u00a0other seven units that are in process<\/strong>\u00a0will form the\u00a0National Diabetic Foot Network.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nLikewise, last year he delivered three Oncology Units<\/strong> at the Inmaculada Concepci\u00f3n Provincial Hospital, in S\u00e1nchez Ram\u00edrez<\/strong>; the Dr. \u00c1ngel Contreras Provincial Hospital, in Monte Plata,<\/strong> and the Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Cabral y B\u00e1ez Regional University Hospital, in Santiago, which, together with five others that are in process,<\/strong> will make up the SNS exhibits strengthening Public Health Network in 2025 | Presidency of the Dominican Republic<\/a>\n\n\n

From January to November 2025, 42,609,046 million services<\/strong> were offered in the areas of: outpatient consultations, emergencies, laboratory tests, imaging and surgeries, which reflects an increase of 8.78%<\/strong> compared to the same period last year, where the total was 39,168,859.\n\n\n
