I speak to the people of the United States: the people of Venezuela did not deserve this vile, warmongering aggression from a nuclear power,\"<\/strong> said Rodriguez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You may be interested in: <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/Presidenta de Venezuela se re\u00fane con el embajador de China en medio de la presi\u00f33n de EE.UU.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/Presidenta de Venezuela se re\u00fane con el embajador de China en medio de la presi\u00f3n de EE.UU.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nThe acting president also expressed her loyalty to Maduro, detained in New York and accused of drug trafficking, among other charges: \"We have commitment and loyalty to President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, who has been kidnapped, we have loyalty to the first combatant, deputy Cilia Flores, and we have committed not to rest until we see them free back home and back to their homeland,\" she expressed.\n\nRodr\u00edguez led, at the Bolivarian National Guard Academy (GNB), an act in homage to the military, both Venezuelan and Cuban, who died during the US attacks in the Venezuelan capital, including at the military complex of Fuerte Tiuna, and in Miranda, Aragua and La Guaira (north).\n\nDuring the ceremony, which included the participation of the Cuban chancellor, Bruno Rodr\u00edguez, the president pointed out that the lives of these soldiers \"were snatched in a vile attack (...) unequal, unilateral, illegal and illegitimate.\"\n\nThe Chavista asserted that in her country they are not \"subordinated or subjected\", but rather have, she said, \"historical dignity\", for which she asked for \"honor and glory to the men and women who died in combat\".\n\n\"Here, no one surrendered, here there was combat and there was combat for this homeland and there was combat for the liberators, (...) for our Liberator Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar, there was combat for (Hugo) Ch\u00e1vez, and here there was combat for Venezuela, this is our greatest satisfaction,\" he added.\n\nThe Venezuelan government has spoken of at least 100 deaths during the attack.
