\"I met the Dominican Republic 35 years ago and it never ceases to amaze us with its development, growth and levels of security in all areas,\" he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nHe indicated that for Chile, it is key to observe successful experiences in strategic areas, especially in sectors such as tourism and infrastructure, with the purpose of knowing firsthand the factors that have driven national development and evaluating lessons that can be applied to the Chilean reality.\n\n\n

The visit is part of a tour of Central America and the Caribbean that includes meetings and activities related to regional cooperation, security, and migration.\n\n\n
