RECOGNIZED IN DR AND USA.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nTallaj is the recipient of several awards for his philanthropic work, through the foundation that bears his name and for his actions within various institutions, for the benefit of the health of low-income communities, both in the Dominican Republic and in the United States.\n\nA former undersecretary of health in the country, for three different periods, the native of Santiago de los Caballeros was also medical director of the Social Security and Welfare Institute of the Dominican Republic, a position in which, among his achievements, is the modification and improvement of the law regulating health administration.\n\nAmong the awards he has received is that of Best Doctor in the Year 2011, by Continuum Hospitals at the St. Luke's Gala. The Ellis Island Medal of Honor, in May 2006, in New York City. Recognized as a Doctor.\n\n\n
