Campos, made an official visit to the Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration, one of the main cultural and historical symbols of the country, as part of an agenda aimed at strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties.\n\nThe diplomat was received by the Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Pe\u00f1a; Mar\u00eda Belissa Ram\u00edrez, director of the Monument; the deputy for Santiago, Soraya Su\u00e1rez, and Senator Daniel Rivera, who accompanied her on a tour of this emblematic heritage space.\n\nDuring the visit, Ambassador Campos learned about the works of art and the history that the Monument safeguards, as well as various elements representative of the Santiago and Dominican identity.
