Santo Domingo.- <\/strong>The Dominican president, Luis Abinader<\/strong>, received this Thursday players from the Leones del Escogido, champions of the Dominican Republic Professional Baseball League, whom he urged to compete with \"patriotism\"<\/strong> as representatives of the country in the Caribbean Series to be held from February 1 to 7 in Jalisco, Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\nThe ruler handed the national flag to directors and players of the red team, who revalidated the league title, number 18 for the team based in Santo Domingo.\n\n\n
