They only present those incidents here with the manifest interest of delaying the process<\/strong>,\u201d said the head of the General Prosecution Directorate of the accusing body.\n\nCamacho heads the Public Ministry team, along with court prosecutor Mirna Ortiz, head of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for the Prosecution of Administrative Corruption (Pepca), and prosecutors Aurelio Valdez and Emmanuel Ram\u00edrez.\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\"Today they even had the audacity, once they were exposed and forced to present their incidents as a whole, to then ask the court for a postponement to give them time to organize, to present their own incidents,\" Camacho added.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\u201cI mean, those incidents they are referring to, it seems they are not even ready, nor do they know the content of them to present them to the court, because <strong>the only interest that Jean Alain Rodr\u00edguez and his defense have is to delay the process<\/strong>,\u201d he said.\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>You can also read: <\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\nWhen responding to the journalists who approached him as he left the New City Courthouse, Camacho indicated: \"First, Jean Alain is lying; he has done so throughout the entire process and, although it is a right that the Constitution grants him, it is good to show that he comes to court to lie and today has been no exception.\"\n\nThe judges of the Second Collegiate Tribunal of the National District, Claribel Nivar, Yissell Soto and Clara Castillo, adjourned the hearing until <strong>next Monday, February 16, 2026, at 9:00 in the morning<\/strong>.\n\nAccording to the record, Rodr\u00edguez S\u00e1nchez <strong>embezzled more than RD$6,000 million through fraudulent processes between 2016 and 2020<\/strong>, years in which he served as Attorney General of the Republic.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He maintained that the former official prosecuted for corruption only goes to court to lie.
