Santo Domingo Este.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 President\u00a0Luis <\/strong>Abinader<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>led the inauguration of the La Gaviota amphitheater in Ciudad Juan Bosch, built with an investment of\u00a0RD$407,086,571.91<\/strong>\u00a0and marks the beginning of a broad process of inaugurations of works carried out in this model city, whose global investment exceeds\u00a0RD$2,387,116,590.56<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\nThe project was developed by the Trust for the Construction of Low-Cost Housing of the Dominican Republic (Fideicomiso VBC-RD), in coordination with Movexco Constructora, as part of a strategic vision that articulates housing, infrastructure, services, sports, culture, and quality public spaces to guarantee a planned, sustainable, and inclusive community.\n\nDuring his intervention, the executive director of the VBC-RD Trust, Camel Curi Lora, highlighted that upon assuming management in 2020, they found a paralyzed project, with service works halted at 50%, limitations in titling, scarce commercial and institutional equipment, and a financial scheme compromised with a debt exceeding RD$3,800 million.\n\nHe explained that they managed to renegotiate and eliminate the debt with Banreservas<\/strong>, recover accounts receivable for more than RD$887 million, and reactivate the bidding for housing lots, which allowed them to generate a stable cash flow to complete the pending infrastructure works. With these actions, the remaining 50% of the service works were executed, including communication routes, drinking water systems, hydro-sanitary network, and electrical distribution, with an investment exceeding RD$500 million.\n\n\n

This work inaugurates a new cultural stage for the community and projects Ciudad Juan Bosch as an artistic reference for the Eastern Zone and the province of Santo Domingo.\n\nDuring the event, the start of the development of the President Antonio Guzm\u00e1n City in Santiago was also announced, where infrastructure works are already being carried out for a global amount of RD$458 million.\n\nThe ceremony concluded with a concert by the Santo Domingo Philharmonic, conducted by maestro Amaury S\u00e1nchez, accompanied by artistic performances by Diomary La Mala and Pavel N\u00fa\u00f1ez.\n\n\n
