With this alliance, the Dominican Republic joins a select group of nations with strategic agreements with NVIDIA, including <strong>the United States, South Korea, Israel, and Singapore.<\/strong>\n\n\n<p><strong>You may be interested in:<\/strong> <a href=\"Generation capacity increased from 4,921 MW in 2020 to 7,120 MW in 2025\">President: Generation capacity increased from 4,921 MW in 2020 to 7,120 MW in 2025<\/a><\/p>\n\n\nFurthermore, President Abinader cited the recent signing of the agreement with Google, which contemplates an investment exceeding US$500 million for the construction of the first <strong>Digital Exchange International Port of Latin America<\/strong> and only the eighth in the world. This infrastructure will make the Dominican Republic Google's gateway to the region.\n\nThe project includes a world-class data hub, submarine cables that will connect to data centers in the United States, and the strengthening of the country as a strategic hub for digital connectivity between North, Central, and South America, substantially increasing national competitiveness for technological investment.\n\nIn the realm of emerging sectors, the Head of State also announced the signing of a historic agreement with the American company <strong>LOD Holdings<\/strong> for the development of a commercial spaceport in Oviedo, Pedernales province, after more than three years of negotiations.
