Santo Domingo,.-<\/strong> High authorities toured different communities in the northern border area this Tuesday, as part of the \"efforts\"<\/strong> of the Government to strengthen security in the area and hear firsthand the needs of its inhabitants.<\/p>\n\n\nThe ministers of the Presidency, Jos\u00e9 Ignacio Paliza, and of Defense, Carlos Antonio Fern\u00e1ndez Onofre<\/strong>, visited the community of Tilori, where they observed the commercial dynamics that take place between citizens of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.\n\n\n

Our commitment is to guarantee security, but also to promote development opportunities for the communities that live here,\"<\/strong> Paliza expressed.\n\nSubsequently, the officials moved to the border town of Guayajayuco, in the province of El\u00edas Pi\u00f1a, where they held a meeting with community leaders and local representatives.
