Verdi<\/strong>, Executive Secretary of CIAT, who will lead the inaugural ceremony.\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>We recommend reading:<a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/gobierno-impulsa-modernizacion-del-estado-y-transformacion-digital\/\">Government promotes modernization of the State and digital transformation<\/a><br><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The opening conference will be led by&nbsp;<strong>Rodrigo Vald\u00e9s<\/strong>, director of the Fiscal Affairs Department of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and&nbsp;<strong>Juan Toro<\/strong>, deputy director, who will share their&nbsp;<strong>perspectives and experiences<\/strong>&nbsp;on digital transformation, exploring the&nbsp;<strong>challenges and opportunities<\/strong>&nbsp;facing the region and other administrations globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Expert and Conference Agenda<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nDuring the assembly, <strong>international panelists<\/strong> will present and debate experiences and strategies aimed at strengthening tax administrations in the face of the <strong>challenges of the digital economy.<\/strong>\n\nAmong the topics to be addressed are strategies and tools to improve <strong>tax compliance<\/strong>, <strong>risk<\/strong> management, <strong>selective and massive audits,<\/strong> selection of <strong>taxpayers<\/strong>, auditing and <strong>traceability<\/strong> of goods.\n\nPredictive models of tax behavior will also be analyzed, the development of comprehensive and omnichannel electronic services for taxpayers, as well as the use of digital platforms and artificial intelligence in the processes of attention and fiscalization.\n\nThe agenda will also include debates on technological infrastructure, data governance and standardization, operational continuity in physical and digital environments, and the&nbsp;<strong>ethical aspects and limits in the use of artificial intelligence.<\/strong>\n\n<strong>International Participation<\/strong>\n\nThe event will be attended by authorities and experts from the continents of <strong>America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania.<\/strong> Representatives from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development <strong>(OECD)<\/strong>, the Inter-American Development Bank <strong>(IDB)<\/strong> and the Forum on Tax Administration (<strong>FTA<\/strong>) will also attend, who will share <strong>experiences and best practices<\/strong> on the modernization and digitalization of tax systems.\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>You can also read:<a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/indotel-iglobal-otorgar-becas\/\">Indotel signs agreement with IGLOBAL to award 200 scholarships in digital transformation and cybersecurity<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About CIAT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Inter-American Center of Tax Administrations is an international organization&nbsp;<strong>founded in 1967<\/strong>, with permanent headquarters in&nbsp;<strong>Panama<\/strong>.
