The event triggered the alarm among the inhabitants and forced an intervention by the local authorities.\n\nAlso, Stacy Marbella Aguilar Arteaga<\/strong>, just 4 years old<\/strong>, died after receiving serious injuries to the neck and face<\/strong> when she was attacked by a stray dog while playing in front of her home in El Pedernal<\/strong>, municipality of El Porvenir<\/strong>, department of Francisco Moraz\u00e1n<\/strong>.\n\nHis death was confirmed hours later at the School Hospital<\/strong>. In reported family testimonies, the animal involved was identified as a stray dog.\n\nIn a separate incident and on the same day, teacher Andr\u00e9s Daniel N\u00fa\u00f1ez G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, aged 80 years<\/strong>, was found dead in his room in the neighborhood El Im\u00e1n<\/strong> in La Ceiba<\/strong>, Atl\u00e1ntida<\/strong>, after being attacked by two dogs he had as pets.\n\nPolice officers received an alert around 11:00 a.m.<\/strong> and found the teacher on the floor, surrounded by blood, upon entering the home.\n\n\n
