\u00a0Rafael Santos supports training, scholarships and certification for musicians and artists in the country<\/em><\/p>\n\n\nSanto Domingo<\/strong>. \u2013 The Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Rafael Santos Bad\u00eda, held a meeting with prominent representatives of the national artistic sector, in which he reaffirmed the institutional commitment to promote the training, certification and professionalization of Dominican creators.\n\nDuring the meeting, which was attended by figures such as Ram\u00f3n Orlando, Chucky Acosta, Kinito M\u00e9ndez, Pochy Familia and Valerio de Le\u00f3n, initiatives aimed at strengthening the training of the cultural sector and its insertion into the labor market were addressed.\n\nThe minister highlighted that the Government fully supports the artistic sector and its integration into educational transformation. \"This group, which represents national culture and art, has all our support,\" he said.\n\nHe also explained that academic programs will be promoted for musicians and artists who, despite their talent and technical mastery, do not have formal qualifications.\n\n\n

\u201cOne of the most important initiatives will be the certification or validation of skills, which will allow us to recognize talent, not just academic merit,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nSantos Bad\u00eda also announced support for a master's degree focused on collective management and institutional strengthening of the cultural sector. \"We have decided to support this master's degree and give a deadline to complete an initial enrollment of 40 participants, with the goal of launching it in May,\" he specified.\n\n\n
