After the resumption, Lehecka raised his level, but errors at key moments cost him the match, especially when he conceded his serve at 4-4 in the second set, a situation that Sinner took advantage of to close the match with authority.

Sinner finished the match with 10 aces, 21 winners and a 92% effectiveness with his first serve, numbers that reflect his superiority during the final.

Closer to Number One

The title in Miami brings Sinner closer to the top spot in the world ranking, currently held by Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz. The difference between the two could be reduced in the clay court season, where Alcaraz is defending a large number of points.

With this championship, Sinner also became the "third tennis player to win three consecutive Masters 1000 tournaments", a feat previously achieved only by Novak Djokovic and the Spaniard Rafael Nadal.

After the match, the Italian champion expressed his satisfaction with the title and highlighted the work done with his team, in addition to congratulating Lehecka for his return to a high competitive level after overcoming several injuries.

MIAMI, USA — Italian Jannik Sinner won the title of the Miami Open 2026 after defeating Czech Jiri Lehečka in the final with a score of 6-4 and 6-4, in a match that was interrupted by rain for almost an hour and a half, and with which he completed the prestigious “Sunshine Double”, by winning […]

[1

0":"post-503277","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-uncategorized
https://deultimominuto.net/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/cropped-7a176880-76f8-4b0c-9527-4e34feef45e4-96x96.jpg
Uncategorized
["GET
