The victim was in front of her home in the aforementioned municipality, according to the accusatory file prepared by the Public Ministry based on the investigation by prosecutor Michael Taveras.\n\nLitigation lawyers Delio David Balc\u00e1cer Conde and Lesly D\u00edaz, from the National Legal Representation Service for Victims' Rights (Relevic) in Moca, asked the court that the defendant be sentenced to pay an indemnity of 10 million pesos in favor of the relatives of Argentina Rojas.\n\nIn response to Relevic's request, the court, composed of judges Luis Rafael Dilon\u00e9 (president), Rosa Molina, and Bienmey Su\u00e1rez, sentenced the defendant, in the civil aspect, to the payment of RD$4.0 million to the victim's family.\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>We recommend reading:<a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/treinta-anos-de-prision-para-cuarto-hombres\/\">Thirty years in prison for four men for the death of another during an assault in Villa Altagracia<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\nDuring the process, litigating prosecutors Diego Torres, Luisa Rodr\u00edguez, and Yesiely Fabr\u00e9 provided sufficient evidence to support the request for the imposition of the maximum penalty before the Criminal Chamber of the Espaillat Collegiate Tribunal.\n\nAlm\u00e1nzar was found guilty of violating articles 295, 296, 297, 298 and 302 of the Penal Code, which typify and punish the criminal offense of murder.\n\nThe processed person must serve the sentence in the Correction and Rehabilitation Center (CCR) La Isleta, in the municipality of Moca, Espaillat province.","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Santo Domingo.- At the request of the Public Ministry, the judges of a collegiate court of the Espaillat judicial district sentenced a man found guilty of murdering his ex-partner with a bladed weapon in 2023 to the maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.
