rel=\"noopener\">BCV<\/a>), Laura Guerra, and announced that the position will be held by Luis P\u00e9rez, an appointment that comes two days after the United States lifted the sanctions imposed on communication from the lawyer, Dr. Laura Guerra, who has submitted her resignation to the Central Bank of Venezuela,\" said the Chavista leader in a meeting with economic authorities broadcast by the state channel Venezolana de Televisi\u00f3n (VTV).<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\nGuerra, who held the position since April of last year, will now \"<strong>continue with other activities within the Government<\/strong>\", Rodr\u00edguez pointed out, who on Wednesday completed one hundred days as acting president, a position she assumed after the capture of Nicol\u00e1s Maduro on January 3 in which also includes the Banco de Venezuela, the Banco Digital de los Trabajadores, the Banco de Tesoro, and any entity in which any of these institutions have a direct or indirect stake of 50% or more.\n\nThe Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) also issued a license that allows \"<strong>commercial transactions<\/strong>\" with the Venezuelan government, with prior authorization from Washington.\n\nWithout these restrictions, the main Venezuelan banking institutions will be able to re-enter the US financial system and legally operate with the dollar.\n\nThis Thursday, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WB) announced the resumption of their relations with the Government of
