Every night trucks arrive, make noise, occupy the entrances and respect nothing,\" expressed a community member.\n\nThe neighbors claim that, in addition to the constant noise, the heavy vehicles have deteriorated the asphalt and obstruct traffic. Added to this is a growing wave of crime which, they explain, is facilitated by the presence of the trucks. \"The criminals hide there, steal engines, rearview mirrors and enter the residential areas in the early hours of the morning,\" they indicated.\n\nWe recommend reading:\n\nOne of the most concerning aspects is that, according to reports, some truckers have reacted violently to complaints, even going so far as to threaten residents with firearms.\n\nThe affected parties claim that they have already brought the situation before the City Council of Santo Domingo Norte, but so far they have not received an effective response. They also denounce the lack of police patrols in the area.\n\n\"The workshop is in an invaded area and operates illegally, but nobody does anything.
