{"id":508358,"date":"2026-05-22T15:39:57","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T19:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/dgm-intercepts-ambulance-transporting-undocumented-haitians-in-dajabon\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T15:39:57","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T19:39:57","slug":"dgm-intercepts-ambulance-transporting-undocumented-haitians-in-dajabon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/dgm-intercepts-ambulance-transporting-undocumented-haitians-in-dajabon\/","title":{"rendered":"DGM intercepts ambulance transporting undocumented Haitians in Dajab\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"The <strong>General Directorate of Migration<\/strong> (DGM) reported this Friday that it intercepted an ambulance allegedly used for the irregular transfer of undocumented Haitian nationals in the province of <strong>Dajab\u00f3n<\/strong>.\n\nThe operation was carried out in coordination with the <strong>Public Ministry<\/strong> and the <strong>Dominican Republic Army<\/strong> (ERD), as part of intelligence and monitoring work carried out by immigration agents.\n\nAccording to the authorities, the vehicle's driver was identified as \"Anderson Ram\u00f3n Est\u00e9vez Pacheco\", who had been under investigation for several months for allegedly offering transportation to foreigners in irregular migratory status from the border area to different parts of the country.\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/073317a8-4f7c-4725-a8b6-d91b62d4a067-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-660440\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\nThe DGM explained that the ambulance, belonging to the cooperative <strong>COOPBUENO <\/strong>and of the brand <strong>Hyundai <\/strong>model <strong>CVX<\/strong>, was detected when it was picking up two Haitian citizens in front of the Haitian consulate, located on 27 de Febrero street in the border city.\n\nSubsequently, the vehicle was intercepted at the military checkpoint \"<strong>El Rodeo<\/strong>\" in the municipality of Partido, while traveling on the Dajab\u00f3n-Santiago Rodr\u00edguez highway.\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>We recommend reading: <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/nacionales\/migracion-detiene-a-mas-de-1200\/\">Migration detains more than 1,200 irregular foreigners during operations throughout the country<\/a><\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\nDuring the inspection, the authorities seized medical documents from Haiti and a health center in Santiago Rodr\u00edguez.
