This pilot initiative<\/strong> is aimed at strengthening the scientific culture<\/strong> in the country's educational centers.\n\nDuring the activity, the authorities also highlighted the development of installed capacities at the Salesian Polytechnic Padre Bartolom\u00e9 Vegh (IPSPBV),<\/strong> of the Educational Regional 15 and the Fabio Amable Mota Technological Institute (ITFAM)<\/strong>, of Regional 10, to promote school research processes in a more systematic way.\n\nLikewise, students showcased, at the facilities of the IPSPBV<\/strong>, the progress of eight ongoing research projects<\/strong>; after six months of implementing the program in coordination with the Directorate of Technical-Professional Education of Minerd.\n\nIn that sense, Dr. Jes\u00fas And\u00fajar Avil\u00e9s<\/strong>, executive director of Ideice, highlighted that the students, during this process, achieved the identification of problematic situations<\/strong> in their environment, the formulation of research questions<\/strong>, the delimitation of study topics<\/strong> and advances in the construction of pre-projects with a solid methodological structure.<\/strong>\n\nHe emphasized that the concrete advances in his research proposals reflect a first exercise of critical observation of the environment <\/strong>and understanding of research<\/strong> as a tool<\/strong> for the analysis of real situations<\/strong> and to propose solutions<\/strong> based on evidence.\n\n\n

We recommend reading:Polytechnic students will be able to obtain dual degree through INFOTEP-MINERD alliance<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nSimilarly, he highlighted the participation of<\/strong> the tutor teachers<\/strong>, who have accompanied the formative and methodological process of the students as another important advance of the first stage<\/strong> of the program managed by the Research department of Ideice, headed by professor Adri\u00e1n Guti\u00e9rrez<\/strong> and the coordination of the researcher Anny V\u00e1squez.<\/strong>\n\nHe highlighted that this involvement of teachers has allowed research to begin to establish itself as a pedagogical practice<\/strong> within the aforementioned centers, not only as an extracurricular activity<\/strong>, but as a strategy to strengthen learning, promote critical thinking<\/strong> and strengthen cross-cutting competencies.<\/strong>\n\nAnd\u00fajar Avil\u00e9s<\/strong> highlighted, as another achievement, the consolidation of a collaborative work dynamic<\/strong> between students, teachers, educational centers, the Technical-Professional direction of the Minerd and Ideice, as well as an articulation of institutional efforts<\/strong> to accompany the development of scientific competence in the secondary level.\n\n\u201cThe seedbed has contributed to students understanding that research is not an activity reserved exclusively for experts, but a tool that can be used from school to understand specific problems and generate proposals for improvement,\u201d<\/em> said the director of Ideice.\n\n\n

To the weighting of the progress made, the teacher Cristhian Qu\u00e9liz<\/strong>, director of Technical-Professional Education of the Minerd, was added, after considering the program that promotes research as an active learning tool and development of critical thinking.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\nFrom their side, Juan Yoardy<\/strong>, director of the Padre Bartolom\u00e9 Vegh Salesian Polytechnic Institute, thanked for the choice of this center for the activity, while Antonio Duval<\/strong>, director of the Fabio Amable Mota Technological Institute, expressed the institutional value that this program represents for the students.\n\nResearch Project Presentations <\/strong>\n\nThe activity's agenda included the presentation of the eight projects<\/strong> developed by the students as a result of the school research seedbeds in secondary education.<\/strong>\n\nThere<\/strong> are three projects<\/strong>, corresponding to the ITFAM seed team<\/strong>, linked to the following topics: Road safety<\/strong> in the school environment: impact of an educational intervention<\/strong> at ITFAM; Recycling culture<\/strong> as a strategy to improve the environment of ITFAM recreational spaces and, Relationship between the conditions of the spaces<\/strong> of study and the academic performance<\/strong> in second cycle secondary school students.\n\nWhile the IPSPBV seed teams<\/strong> socialized their five proposals<\/strong> related to: academic saturation in Technical-Professional Education<\/strong>: effects on student performance; Perspective of the school community on the impact of 4%<\/strong> of GDP allocated to educational quality and<\/strong> student motivation<\/strong> in the 4th year of electricity in secondary school.\n\nSimilarly, the boost to the effective implementation<\/strong> of the Ministry of Education's teaching sequence in Technical-Professional: a proposal for intervention and Transition from 3rd to 4th grade of secondary school in technical-professional education.\n\nThe activity was attended by Father Jos\u00e9 Pastor Ram\u00edrez<\/strong>, inspector of the Antilles and president of the Salesian Don Bosco Foundation, and included the presentation of recognitions, and the words of thanks<\/strong> from the seed student, Julianny Ma\u00f1\u00f3n<\/strong>, from the Padre Bartolome Vegh Salesian Polytechnic Institute, who, representing her classmates, thanked for the opportunity to access the program, which will develop new skills for their future professional training<\/strong> and lays the foundations for the future researchers<\/strong> of the Dominican educational system.\n\n\n
