The president of El Salvador<\/strong>, Nayib Bukele<\/strong>, inaugurated this Monday the new Rosales Hospital<\/strong><\/a>, whose infrastructure and services set the highest standard in the national public network. An announcement that was made within the framework of his seventh year of Government<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>The center has the largest emergency service in the country<\/strong>, capable of handling general medicine cases, performing sutures, and carrying out high-complexity surgeries. The president highlighted that “this is the most advanced hospital in Central America<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to statements collected from his network, Bukele<\/strong> highlighted that the opening of the renovated Rosales Hospital<\/strong> positions the country as a regional reference in medical care. The head of state assured that the hospital center \u201callows Salvadorans to access cutting-edge medical technology without leaving the country<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>The renovation of the hospital, located in San Salvador<\/strong>, integrates a new building connected to the historic one by an elevated walkway. This design combines tradition and modernity, and provides spacious areas equipped with state-of-the-art technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bukele highlighted that the hospital has nine operating rooms equipped to cover all medical specialties<\/strong>, underscoring the center’s capacity to handle a wide range of surgical procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the hospital’s technological advancements, Nayib Bukele<\/strong> pointed out the incorporation of robotic surgery for complex operations, explaining that the surgeon is at the console while the robotic surgical equipment performs the intervention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, the medical offering is also expanding: now Rosales Hospital has 47 specialties<\/strong>, compared to the previous 32<\/strong>. Areas such as robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopy, geriatrics, pediatric nephrology, family medicine, clinical pharmacology, dentistry, and various subspecialized services have been added. The center offers 44 procedure rooms and 87 medical offices, which makes it possible to provide care to more than 1,400 patients daily<\/strong> in an outpatient setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Salvadoran president emphasized that, although the country has top-tier facilities, high-tech equipment, quality supplies, and medications, it is essential that health personnel demonstrate empathy in patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the hospital’s innovations, the hybrid operating rooms<\/strong> stand out, equipped with advanced real-time imaging technology. This integration allows for diagnosis and treatment to be performed in the same space, which reduces response times and improves the precision of procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to official information, the addition of these operating rooms places the new Rosales Hospital<\/strong> within an exclusive group of hospitals in Latin America with state-of-the-art surgical infrastructure for high-complexity procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The modernization process began in September 2022 and was financed through loans from the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI)<\/strong> and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)<\/strong>.
