Abinader ranks eighth in approval rating of Latin American presidents<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Santo Domingo<\/strong>.- The President of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader, holds the eighth position in the approval ranking of Latin American leaders for August 2026, prepared by CBGlobalData.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the published data, Abinader records a 48.1% approval rating<\/strong>, while 47.6% disapprove of his administration. The remaining 4.3% corresponds to people who did not respond or do not have a defined opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With these results, the Dominican leader is in the category of presidents with fair approval and occupies the eighth position among the 18 leaders included in the measurement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ranking is led by Nayib Bukele<\/strong>, from El Salvador, with a 68.7% approval rating<\/strong>, followed by the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum<\/strong>, with 66.5%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In third place appears Keiko Fujimori<\/strong>, from Peru, with 55%<\/strong>, while the president of Colombia, Abelardo de la Espriella<\/strong>, occupies the fourth position with 52.4%<\/strong>. He is followed by Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva<\/strong>, from Brazil, with 51.9%, and Rodrigo Paz<\/strong>, from Bolivia, with 50.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below Abinader are Jos\u00e9 Antonio Kast<\/strong>, from Chile, with 47.7%; Santiago Pe\u00f1a<\/strong>, from Paraguay, with 47.2%; and Daniel Noboa<\/strong>, from Ecuador, with 45.3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The list continues with Nasry Asfura<\/strong>, from Honduras (41.6%); Yamand\u00fa Orsi<\/strong>, from Uruguay (37.5%); Daniel Ortega<\/strong>, from Nicaragua (36%); Javier Milei<\/strong>, from Argentina (35.1%); Jos\u00e9 Ra\u00fal Mulino<\/strong>, from Panama (31.4%); Bernardo Ar\u00e9valo<\/strong>, from Guatemala (29.5%), and Delcy Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, from Venezuela, who occupies the last place with 26.7% approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the variation in positive image compared to July, the graph shows that Abinader went from 48.7% to 48.1%<\/strong>, a reduction of 0.6 percentage points<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result places the Dominican president practically divided between those who approve and disapprove of his administration, with a difference of just 0.5 percentage points<\/strong> in favor of approval<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
