Santo Domingo, DR– The iconic Chilean singer and songwriter, Myriam Hernández, will be one of the protagonists of the 40th edition of the Soberano Awards, the most prestigious art and culture event in the Dominican Republic.
Next Tuesday, March 25, at the Eduardo Brito National TheaterHernández will delight the audience with a hit-filled musical segment at the ceremony, which, year after year since 1985, celebrates and recognizes the best of national and international artistic talent.
In addition to its presentation, Hernández will be honored with the International Sovereign, an award that recognizes his outstanding career and contribution to Latin music, marking a high point in the history of the awards given by the Association of Art Chroniclers (Acroarte)This recognition adds to her legacy of hits that have captured the hearts of millions of fans around the world, reaffirming her undisputed position as one of the most beloved and respected artists on the continent.

The awards ceremony is sponsored by Cervecería Nacional Dominicana and BanReservas, and will be broadcast live on Color Visión in the Dominican Republic and on Univisión and the ViX streaming platform in the United States. It will be hosted by merengue singer Eddy Herrera and communicator and actress Hony Estrella.
