SANTO DOMINGO.- With the aim of reinforcing the teaching of moral, civic and patriotic values in the Dominican educational system, the Minister of Education, Luis Miguel De Camps Garcia, held a meeting with the Duartian Institute, where he explored avenues for collaboration with the institution.
During the meeting, From Camps He stressed the importance of working hand in hand with the Institute to strengthen training in national identity and democratic values, essential pillars in the education of future generations.
“The transformation of education cannot be achieved from a single vision. It is a collective effort where the commitment to teaching patriotic, moral and civic values plays a fundamental role”, said the minister, who attended accompanied by the magistrate Milton Ray Guevara, former president of the Constitutional Court.

For his part, the president of the Duartian Institute, Wilson Gomez, positively valued the meeting and highlighted the minister's initiative to approach the institution, which shows his interest in strengthening patriotic training in the country.
“This approach is a clear manifestation of the Minister of Education's interest in patriotic and civic education. Dominican education needs allied institutions such as the Duartiano Institute to guide the new generations in their historical and democratic formation.”, Gomez said.
The Duartiano Institute thanked the minister for his willingness and openness, highlighting that this dialogue lays the foundation for future joint actions to strengthen civic and patriotic education in the Dominican Republic.
