MoscowAt least four workers were killed and two were injured in a Ukrainian attack on an animal feed factory in Kursk, authorities reported Wednesday. locals.

Jinshtein added that the attack also left two other people injured, one of whom was hospitalized with "serious" injuries.

Two days ago, the governor of Kursk reported another enemy bombardment in that Russian border region, partially occupied by Ukrainian troops, in which five civilians died.

The news coincides with the beginning of the withdrawal, according to Russian sources, of kyiv's forces from Kursk after a military operation lasting more than six months.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported today that it had liberated five settlements in Kursk: Kazachya Loknia, Knyazhny 1, Knyazhny 2, Zamostya, and Mirny, in the northern, eastern, and southern vicinity of the city of Sudzha.

According to the Russian military command, Russian forces inflicted 260 casualties on Ukrainian troops and captured two prisoners of war over the past day.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov welcomed the advance of Russian troops today, noting that "we are closely monitoring all information about our military."

"The data we're receiving shows that our forces are successfully advancing in the Kursk region, liberating territories that were under enemy control. This is a positive trend," the Kremlin representative said.
