Writing.- Spain's Popular Party (PP) has launched a controversial campaign in which it describes the Dominican Republic as "The Island of Corruptions" in an attempt to criticize the cases of corruption surrounding the Spanish Executive.
Through an AI-generated video, popular figures have recreated the format of the Mediaset reality show 'La Isla de las Tentaciones', transforming it into a political satire where the 'contestants' are key figures in the Government, including President Pedro Sánchez, his wife Begoña Gómez, José Luis Ábalos, Koldo García, Armengol, Álvaro García Ortiz, Santos Cerdán, and Ángel Víctor Torres.

The video has generated mixed reactions, with criticism for the comparison with the Dominican Republic, a country that has no relation to the political scandals in Spain. While some see it as an effective communication strategy, others qualify it as a lack of respect.
So far, the Spanish government has not officially responded to the PP's campaign.
