Holy Sunday.- He Public Ministry reported this Wednesday that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), have provided support in the investigations being carried out due to the disappearance of student Konanki Sudiksha Chowdary.
In this regard, the accusing body stated that it is carrying out multiple investigative procedures that extend to "beyond a possible accidental event."

“We are using all our resources to thoroughly investigate the disappearance of Konanki Sudiskha Chowdary and understand the distress this case causes her family, Dominican citizens, and Americans,” said Attorney General Yeni Berenice Reynoso.
He also added that the entity he leads is implementing a holistic research protocol "in which all variables are investigated."
"The young woman's family, like Dominican and American society, must be absolutely certain that we will continue to investigate until we have the answers that we, the authorities, are duty-bound to guarantee," he stated.
It is recalled that Konanki, a 20-year-old student originally from Chantilly, Virginia, and of African descent india, was reported missing on March 6, 2025, during a vacation trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where she arrived with a group of six companions.
Dominican authorities, in collaboration with the Indian Embassy and U.S. agencies, have launched an intensive search, using drones and helicopters. Despite these efforts, no conclusive results have been obtained so far regarding his whereabouts.
